RAHEELA KHAN

As a mother, volunteer, and community member, I believe we have a responsibility to leave our community better than we found it. I believe in building a community where our children feel a sense of belonging, learn to care for one another, and understand that they are not simply here to benefit from the world we inherit, but to help shape it and ultimately, to leave it even better for the generation that comes after them.

I’ve learned that community isn’t built by simply talking about what could be better. It’s built in the everyday moments by showing up, volunteering at school, supporting a child, listening to a parent, bringing people together, and finding ways to make things better.
